Drifting across the room-
Black gown flowing,
floating gracefully across the ballroom floor
Candlelight-
sets the room aglow,
warm and muted
Flames flickering to a hidden melody-
found within
Swaying
as the gentle breeze
whispers in the darkness
Twisting and twirling,
dipping as the flames sing
their silent song
Mystified, 
soul entranced
Surrender the heart-
to the Shadow’s dance...
